It mostly seems to reward the ability to play the sort of games enjoyed by people who unironically use words like “meritocracy” past a certain point.

Spend a few hours taking notes on some in-depth post about a topic I don’t know, then in processing stage fill in gaps left by the post based on stuff it turns out I may have known after all.

I don’t ever want to think I’m “smart” or even worse “clever” because ego baggage is heavy and knocks everyone’s stuff over, but it would be nice if I kept in mind I’m smarter than I usually give myself credit for.
