hackers.town uses Glitch.soc, which supports Markdown, which up to now didn’t render correctly in any mobile client I tried.
But looks like @trunksapp does it right. Huzzah!

I knew bits and pieces about The Warriors being connected to actual gang life and incidents of the 70s, but this ties it together well and adds stuff new to me.
There’s even footage of Black Benji, the real-life counterpart to Cyrus, who was killed in 1971 while negotiating peace between gangs. That led to block parties for truces, which helped out hip-hop.
