Watching TV romance shows (My Lady Jane, quite enjoyable), listening to audiobooks of fantasy novels with romance and relationship dynamics. (Court of Thorns and Roses, good stuff)

@denis I got introduced to the story in school, and it stuck with me since it reflected how I already felt.

Folks’ reactions to it tell me a lot about whether I’d want to hang out with them. If they scoff, that’s some all-or-nothing thinking at best, and we won’t get along.

There goes the Palo Verde beetle, one of the chunkier airborne arthropods in our neighborhood and occasionally confused with other root borer species.

The main hazard of the Palo Verde beetle is —

Woo hoo!

I wrote Go code that parses the entirety of my Logseq graph and produces my own version of the app’s JSON export.

I had to wrestle with pointers and references, and I ended up also implementing a stack (side-eye from the perl-shaped bits of my brain), which all strongly suggests there’s a prettier solution out there. But it works! Consistently!
