@baldur when I was a kid I sneakily filled an entire roll of film with odd-angled shots of our houseplants.
At the time my mom was very annoyed, but since then she’s told me there were some really good compositions in there that she wouldn’t have thought up on her own. Ended up using a few for her paintings.
I’m glad your sister’s going through that archiving work!

@rhosyn there’s an accumulation of overlapping skills that is eventually hard to distinguish from mastery.

@WuMargaret exactly so. I feel bad for (some of) these folks. Their dog was obviously just minding its own business, chilling out, keeping an eye on its humans, when we walk by and Bouncy Dog starts shouting at them.

@WuMargaret Bouncy Dog is a good kid. Loves playing with people and other dogs. He’s just so bad at doggy introductions that I think he never spent time with them before us.
