I rarely boost images without alt text, or sensitive material without a content warning / subject line. But I also rarely tell people to add alt text, content warnings, etc.
For one thing, I figure a dozen or more others will have that covered. For another, I’m no mod. I don’t need to throw down my rulebook for every passerby.

Yesterday I didn’t see much if anything on TikTok about Trump getting shot at.
Today the feed was just flooded and every single one I saw was selling a shirt, hat, or other product.
Which is its own kind of significant.

The total runtime of my code is 25% what it was this morning.
Because I accidentally made it ignore 75% of the work it’s supposed to be doing.
Requirement: Improve execution time

The main force of it passed us by. Our neighborhood got a little rain, a little wind, and a little light show. I saw one hell of a cranky lightning show northwest of us when walking the dogs this evening, far enough away that the thunder never reached us.

So our neighborhood was pretty quiet during today’s unpleasantly interesting weather. No damage, not really much noise even. But we saw the business end of that storm going by us, and I’m grateful it didn’t get any closer!
