New Kuzu release! Key items of interest for me: list lambdas for tighter description of operations on lists, you can write user-defined functions — stored procedures basically — in Python, and there’s better support for Polars, SQLite, and JSON as data sources.

Plus it’s started on Multi-Version Concurrency Control (MVCC) and there’s already performance improvement when doing loads of small write transactions.

(The post is currently dated July 31 but the actual release was about 20 minutes ago.)

I’m still holding out for KeyboardIO to carry out their hinted threat of a trackball.

But failing that, I could see getting into 3D printing just so I could have the right trackball again.

“Patch 1.06 is expected to be the final patch for Fabledom.”

Uh?

I do not expect or want every game to be a live service subscription, but 1.0 was released on May 13. I played it a little in early access and was looking forward to at least a few months of work on balance and accessibility once it full release.
