Someone here talking about how they don’t like nuts in their salad, and I’m sure you can imagine the twenty minutes or so of jokes even a twelve year old would be ashamed of.

So over the last day and a half of obsessiveness, I’ve been able to establish with certainty that I can stuff my core notes into SiYuan, then process them with a script to generate frontmatter and my own idea of nicely formatted HTML ready for consumption by SSGs.
What I have not been able to establish with certainty is whether that’s something I actually want to do.
Having consistently structured JSON notes makes processing easier, but much of that structure is there for the app’s WYSIWYG editor so processing is also harder.
