Very excited that in a week I’ll be able to afford gas for my car — which has been “EEEEE” and therefore unmoving for at least a week — and may be even get it drivable without anxiety — when a prius check engine light comes on, that’s all you get to see on the dash panel until it’s sorted.
Not enough to make it fully legal, though. That’ll have to be a couple paychecks down the line.

Not about me, I just gotta blurt:
somebody puts in their two week notice, the smart HR team ships the equipment return box that day, and sends a “thank you for your service, you must be tired, take the next couple weeks off” email.
That’s how it’s been done nearly every place I’ve seen, so it’s a little jarring when I don’t see it.
‘cause if they’re leaving and the reason is anything but “retired; bought a goat farm; moved to Ukiah” then you don’t have much to keep them from spreading that discomfort now that they’re a short-timer
