As your toolkit gets bigger and more complex, your problems magically transform into bigger and more complex puzzles that require those new tools.
But the sign of maturity is checking “isn’t that just OLD_AND_BUSTED_THING?” and recognizing when it is.

org-mode is a simple outliner for note taking and list management. It doesn’t impose any complex features on users. This is something users excel at by themselves.

@zkat nushell is wonderfully batteries-included, and works consistently enough for me on Linux, macOS, and Windows. I like it a lot.

@zkat still not bold enough to use it as $SHELL for Linux and macOS, but I have a binding in tmux to open a nu session .
In Windows I just have Windows Terminal open Nushell by default, since it’s gonna be the only actually good shell in native Windows (for me).
I just love the open | from json | do stuff | to md flow for simple reports

@zkat I made it work at some point, around 0.66 I think. Honestly not a great idea, with my dev workflow’s POSIX assumptions and the rate of breaking changes in nu at that point.
