Thing is, even if LLMs worked perfectly as advertised — and the magic wand was waved over the resource consumption issue — I’d ration my use. Automation blindness is a huge issue for me, where streams of generated output all kind of blur together and I miss critically important mistakes or just things that weren’t quite what I meant.
Judging by tales of ChatGPT-generated legal defenses this is not just a me problem.
But I have the benefit of being painfully aware of my limitations? Yay me?

Me and Jumpy Dog just trying to have a nice quiet evening walk, and Bouncy Dog barking off every single dog in the neighborhood.
He’s even figured out where the other reactive dogs live, and makes a point of stopping to yell at their windows.
