Trying to at least steer it towards Org mode. Taskwarrior is more challenging now that the big sync hosts have shut down and 3.0 has made self-hosted sync more confusing.

@chuck long post so Mastodon Web client only showed first line and that with some fading out at the bottom.
Long story short I saw “Over here doing B&D”, clicked in, saw Kubernetes, and it all still fit by the time I hit “wildly empowering, and kind of irresponsible”

Obsidian not yet showing which canvases a page has been embedded in has been kind of a showstopper for using the feature.
Which is a shame, because other than being almost completely detached from the vault, Obsidian Canvas is kinda nifty.
Unless there’s a setting / plugin I’m missing?

Look there’s reasons I don’t tag my profile as infosec, cybersex (edit: that’s a typo but I’m leaving it), or a/s/l or what was I saying
right
I don’t call myself infosec because there’s too much I don’t care to know. Also, infosec people mostly seem miserable.
so I can’t verify the actual security of some of these policies
but every time I reach for the damn finger scanner button so I can SSO so I can do an SSH thing I feel like I’m taking my shoes off at the airport.

@rubenerd Yep that’s gotta be disorienting! Flip it for moving from a temperate region (pacific northwest US) to desert (Sonoran Desert, in Arizona)
I’m used to enough variation that you get bored after three days of the same weather.
Now it’s hot. Also dry. Every day. Except during monsoon season, when it was hot and also wet probably around sunset every day for a couple months.
So aside from the humidity aspect this is what you’re used to? So confusingly consistent.
