Trying Smalland again to see if anything clicks for me yet. Been a couple updates since my last try.

Smalland is definitely better than — checks play history — a year ago? Jeez I’d hope so.
You can pause in single player now, so I felt safe actually engaging with the game. Something still feels insubstantial and floaty about it, but less so than before.
I may stick around long enough to find out if it’s a good game.

At least for the intro, Grounded still feels like a better “hello yes we are small people and the world is a big world” game. It pays more attention to physics. Cartoon physics sure but still. But Smalland as fae tree puncher in a land of giants might be okay.
