@JoYo @mjd @thegibson my issue was more the span of 1999-2002 where every station seemingly flipped to playlists of mostly Limp Bizkit and bands that kinda sounded like them.

That was tiresome.

So I think of that more than the genre itself.

I was a young adult in The Puget Sound region for grunge.

It wasn’t until 2005 or so that I could go “yeah Nirvana was good and heck I guess Pearljam is too.”

(but my heart still belongs to Soundgarden, Mudhoney, The Gits, and Tad for bands associated with that sound)

My first election in a new state, so adding biographical and other information I can find about candidates to my notes. That way when someone screws up later I have a reference point.

@bamfic I preferred the Tom Jones + Art of Noise cover for the longest time, but gradually I understood how much of its appealing simplifications were because Jones just didn’t have the range.
