No improvement from Jack since getting him home from the vet (he hasn’t been throwing up which is good, but he also hasn’t been eating, drinking, or moving around much, which is not good) so Mrs Geek is taking him in again for more fluids and next tier of examinations.
I’ve finally learned what “anxious” looks like from Jack’s brother Barry. He knocked my laptop off its stand twice trying to get drive-by skritches.

In Arizona when I got my driver’s license, they gave me the option of registering to vote. Part of that process was to declare party affiliation, apparently resolving who I could vote for in primaries?
I dunno. We didn’t have to declare affiliation in Washington state.

A dang hairball? Okay, a giant hairball. A two inch hairball stuck in Jack’s gut. Mrs Geek called and got the update.
We’ll have a big bill and a recovering cat probably tomorrow.
First visit it had only been since breakfast. Requesting fluid check was because throwing up that many times in one day can’t be good for you.
Had to cross fingers and postpone escalation until we had some ideas about how to pay for it.

We purchased approximately seven pounds of candy.
To effectively use it all on trick or treaters with the total number of visitors we had tonight, we should have given each child 1.4 pounds of candy.
