Disclaimer: I’ve mellowed out a bunch about AI hype, having found the kernels of utility under all the brochures.
But still. If you’re gonna buy the pitch, be intentional about what you add. Don’t just add another chatbot.
And for god’s sake, make it opt-in (like Capacities) or at least opt-out (like AFFiNE). So fscking tired of Notion Clippy.

@philsplace it’s super close. Lacks infinite zoom, which is what caught me with Endless Paper. Sorta lets me do outliner mode for sketch notes.
But it’s got the actually useful stuff. I’ll have to ponder.

I can imagine it’s about as difficult to manage someone with #ADHD as it is to be the neurospicy one being managed.
But when they come up to you with a work-related side thing they come up with over the weekend, there are probably more graceful responses than (paraphrased) “What is that? Oh. I hope you didn’t use company time for that.”
Because dunno what you think you’re saying, but what they’re hearing is “don’t ever do anything interesting for work” which is of course turning the breaker switch off for a brain like that.

I mean I don’t know what the right answer is or even if there is one. You got stuff you need done and however cool or weird the project might be it’s not the thing you need done.
