Kind of a flowery look for the bedtime #drawing

The kind of morning where I got a lot of ideas floating around about what I’d like to get done today. Enough of them that I went “you’re gonna do maybe half of these at best. Better list them out so you don’t forget them later.”
The list is at fifteen items and growing, and I’m only up to what was in my head an hour after I woke up.
I think I’m gonna do way less than half of them.

She, routinely and sincerely: you’re so smart!
Me, just now: (tries to literally inhale pancake, chokes, nearly dies)
Clearly @IamMrsGeek sees a different side of my brain than I do.

Link preview in #TangentNotes is a pretty nice addition. Works for raw URLs and embed-style links like .
Very friendly!

Doing my algorithm practice study in Python and it just wasn’t sticking. Too familiar with the Python, brain skipped straight to summarizing.
Needed it to stick so switched to Go because unfamiliar enough that I have to process every line.
That worked.

A sad thing that amuses me: most of my note applications support automatically embedded player widget for pasted YouTube links, but I nearly always find the alternate paste that just puts the URL.
I dislike scrolling through daily journal pages full of slight variations on the same winning thumbnail: extreme closeup of silly facial expression, big text with slightly reworded title to make room for extraneous punctuation.

I have others, but this honestly remains my most effective filter. Proper names and common aliases for the usual suspects.
I have never felt the need to click through, and therefore I have known peace.

Well there’s an unsettling spot to put your thriving village. Ignore the ominous arch and ancient temple! That’s just local color.

@belghast last time I played #VintageStory I made it the second night and accidentally kicked my hard-won fire out or otherwise destroyed it with my body. Left our hero wounded, in pitch black darkness, with something that sounded hungry getting closer.

@VE2UWY @mountainwitch early to mid 90s for me. WordPerfect “Reveal Codes” is why HTML and CSS made sense to me so quick. . WP’s rich key bindings are why I still prefer keyboard-driven editors.
