Phone call from a number local enough that hey it might be important better answer.

“Hi Brian this is XXX from YYY. Got a few seconds?”

Me: Hi, XXX. Sure!

“When I talk to IT Deciders such as yourself–”

Me : Lemme interrupt you right there, XXX. I’m currently an unemployed IT Decider.

“Ah understood. I’ll try back later and good luck with your search!”

Writing some new site tests in Vitest and missing basically everything about Pytest (particularly just using assert for everything and automatically getting local context on assertion failures)

Walked three miles with total elevation change of 34 feet.

Still getting used to some aspects of not living betwixt Puget Sound and two mountain ranges.

Bit by little wiggly bit, I’m getting #IndieWeb components back on the site. POSSE links are the easiest, though I did have to finish scrubbing out a few Twitter and Facebook links.

I only really notice the difference in build time between Astro and Hugo when I’m fixing a typo. Or running and rerunning tests. Or in a hurry. Or thinking about it at all.

Other than that it’s totally no big deal that Astro takes 30x longer.

Wondering how big a detriment to job search a retro tech revamp would be.

They’d never know if I did the aliases right and kept my mouth shut.

I did it!

Beat the Ender Dragon? No of course not.

Go to the Nether? Not yet anyways. Maybe after I finish my garden.

No, I lasted 100 days in a single world. Only the second time I’ve managed that.

Hardcore?

Sort of: ADHD.

A higher up view of the same desert badlands scene, but the house is now two stories, with sandy colors from desert building materials. A stone path can be seen leading to a second building.
