Executable Obsidian

I’m thinking about ways to get Obsidian (or any PKM really) closer to org-babel. Evaluate code, show tables and plots, stuff like that.

I am very much enjoying the summary of legal proceedings over plugging a server into the OPM email system and sending a “send a status summary or you’re fired” email to everyone with a .gov address.

Kel McClanahan is colorful and so is his shirt. I might like him. Need more info.

See above for context if that’s the sort of thing you need in your life.

Eyes see: “Today is the anniversary of the invention of the World Wide Web in 1989 by Tim Berners-Lee.”

Brain adds: “This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.”

But I am more or less happy to be here. The Web is still cool, regardless of those silos we don’t talk about.

Still got Douglas Adams on the brain, because this popped into my head just now.

“Gordon’s great insight was to design a program which allowed you to specify in advance what decision you wished it to reach, and only then to give it all the facts. The program’s task, which it was able to accomplish with consummate ease, was simply to construct a plausible series of logical-sounding steps to connect the premises with the conclusion.”

Tempted to start calling all the LLMs “Anthem.”

Mixing Logseq, Python, Quarto, Polars, KuzuDB, Hugo, and whatever else sounds good.

If we all survive to the end – assuming I figure out what “the end” would be – it’ll probably be a blog post.

Look all I’m saying is you’re gonna have to get things done yourself. You want a B&D genderqueer dystopian wasteland you’ll have to slap on the leather chaps yourself.

Otherwise it’s the Torment Nexus, which like most fascistic wet dreams, has turned out to be embarrassingly banal.

Well heck I found a note with too long of a path. I keep accidentally doing useful things.
