A little bit of weekend puttering with Zola, libvips, and the Superkube SCSS framework.
It’s fun! I may even go live with this one eventually.

Zola has fewer features than Hugo. And it’s slower — by about a second. 1.8s to build.
I do love using Tera for templating. And fewer features means I use exactly the right external tool rather than try to get close enough with SSG features.
Had some fun with a Zola version of my site. Got an idea for a thumbnail / social image thing with libvips and fd but I’m too tired to try it now. Hopefully it still sounds interesting tomorrow.

Kinda confusing to use Playwright without the intermediate Python layer.

@kf I’m bouncing back and forth between ideas, but if this one makes any forward progress I’ll post!
Brain’s off to a rough start for executive functionality today. Tried an experiment where I said so during standup.
Calculated risk, since I already know it’s the best team. But yeah folks were cool.
Feels good. Better than when I mask through it poorly.

@rottenmeier Looking forward to it! Loved what I saw of it before, but “no pause” is a gaming blocker for me, what with unpredictable local distractions.
#HelpfulHint: When in a remote meeting, make sure to check the mic and camera are both off before telling your partner “I WANT TO TOUCH THE BOOTY LET ME TOUCH THE BOOTY PLEASE”

Wait, Valheim has pause for single player now? I may need to revisit that one this weekend.
Look, you have your list of priority features, I have mine.
@jaywilliams It’s better than the movie for sure. I sort of tune in and out, as @IamMrsGeek is the main watcher. But when I check in I’m always ready for the next episode.
