Looks like Bloodywood’s taking a break from novelty metal covers.
Catchy.

I don’t know if it’s impostor syndrome or supremely well-developed self-awareness but I’d like a bit less of it please.
@tek Plain Org looks a little more raw than Beorg but maybe that’s okay!
@tek Beorg’s awesome for the task management and capture template side of things, but a bit awkward on the note-taking. Obsidian mobile is also promising. Joplin too.
@jaywilliams That’s pretty much exactly where I’m at. My favorite streaming service was Pandora but vague memories of them making it harder to click out and buy what you were listening to.
Going back to check Pandora again? Still a much better discovery experience than Spotify.
@jaywilliams but later maybe. right now it’s John Richards time
Starting over on the hat and making sure the cats never get the opportunity to help with my knitting again.

Nothing fast or fancy — I’m too far out of practice for that — but hey at least I’m #knitting.
Lord how many jobs do people stick with out of an underlying “I can fix them” urge? I know it’s been a couple few for me.
@edebill I’m wavering. I last longer at jobs these days than I used to, but that’s just because I’m not on startup time now. The employer lasts longer.
But I’m learning that doesn’t always make them better.
I see folks using web3 to describe a sort of IndieWeb with math, and other folks using it to describe a pyramid scheme they imagine themselves near the top of, and the first batch may want another term because it reeks of grift.
@tek I managed 33 seconds before my survival instinct closed the tab.
@tek Oh thank god.
Making Windows Terminal more comfortable for my use by deleting 80% of the keybindings and redefining the other 20%.
Oh I can just put the BIOS boot preference back to Pop OS. Didn’t need to keep fiddling with TPM & boot order every time I want to switch Windows 11 <-> Linux.
Sharing in case there are others missing this obvious-in-hindsight point.
It occurs to me that if Poetry does not yet support Python 3.10, setting my global python to 3.9.x might be smarter than trying to hack Poetry into sort of working with 3.10.x.
There are ten hour coughing videos if you need some anti-ASMR.
The fact that only 1% of Moonglow Bay players on Steam have gained the “You Can Pet The Dog” accomplishment tells me that the right people are still not finding this game.
I got a lot of problems today, but one of them was that I wasn’t drinking enough water so you know just reminding you to check in on yourself for the little stuff too.
Holy crap.
winget install emacs then tangle my Emacs org config (then fiddle for 15 minutes with directory definitions and font names) and It Just Works!
