Holy crap.
winget install emacs then tangle my Emacs org config (then fiddle for 15 minutes with directory definitions and font names) and It Just Works!

W32 Emacs is maybe a terrible idea because Win 11 X Server is good enough for GSD but I need a real org mode interacting directly with other terrible ideas.

Tangentially related, org-brain is pretty darn nifty once you get the hang of it. Instead of node links you define parent/child/friend relations. Course, you can have a bunch of friendless childless orphans but that’s your business not mine.
