@hyde I bounce around a lot out of habit, but I’m getting muscle memory for having bindings to rearrange and resize windows. And the Lua scripting / config is fun.
So weird being confident enough in my abilities to say “No, you want somebody else to do that.”
It’s just – I know what I know, and I know that ain’t it.
having a very ee cummings satori as i realize typos are punctuation
mood for sure
(also, filmed a block or two from where we live)

The kexp.org playlist is all over the place this morning. I love it.
Uh oh. I’m getting used to how awesomewm does things.
And if Dolly Parton pulls a Milkshake Duck (perish the thought) I’m reasonably certain she would make amends and then there’d be an amazing duet or something.
brew upgrade insists on compiling rust and there’s my CPU for the rest of the day
Homebrew on Ubuntu on WSL on Windows. It’s not inception. It’s just my brand.
If I typed “perl sqitch” I meant “perl sqitch” — I wish search engines would stop trying to be helpful once the search words hit a certain threshold of weirdness.
That includes DDG.
@calcifer Same, and that’s exactly what it was. Not just $x results intermingled with $a results, but only $x results and I had to click again to see any $a.
Just got back from being therapeutically bludgeoned with scalding rocks. I highly recommend the experience.
Played Stellaris for a bit. Starting to get comfortable with it.
Kind of says something about the learning curve that not quite 30% of Steam players have the achievement adding your first colony.
awesomewm gets a little cranky when you forget to define the modkey.
CPU and new fan on. Gonna take a break for a few minutes before I finish plugging everything in and find out if I got my power supply math correct.
why didn’t anybody tell me there’d be so much math in computering
Well, okay. Turns out the shiny new CPU was not compatible with my motherboard, and also motherboards don’t like being messed with a lot, but several hours later I once again have the computer I had this morning.
Saw a Herfy’s on the way home.
#ImagelessAltText[A car suddenly exiting the freeway]
First of several. Unless I hit a bad update on my first try. Fingers crossed!
I live!
All BIOS updates applied. There’s a weird lack of display flickering and OS complaining now, but I’ll fix that right up.
@pixelpaperyarn very much so.
Bedtime #drawing starting to look a little busy. That’s progress for sure.
Funny but sometimes that neurodiverse wiring means that my brain goes
I KNOW THIS THIS IS THE PART WHERE WE’RE SUPPOSED TO SAY A NICE THING
so I wish folks a happy thanksgiving and they’re all happy and I feel like I passed a pop quiz.
