Don’t know for sure when we’re moving from here but I’m looking forward to it.
No point trying to sleep between 9pm and 2am.
Or listen to music.
Or do much of anything but ponder consequences of dropping eggs on douchemobiles from our window.

Well, no. That interpretation works too, based on my early experiences with police.
Long-time coder here, enthusiastic but with awful self-care habits and scars to prove it.
Beginners in particular need to set good habits for code/life balance.
Code. And do other stuff.

Important step in growing up: recognizing when that brilliant code tangent will take energy I don’t have (to finish now, or to clean up later).
I think the hardest thing about being Gen X isn’t even specifically an X thing.
We hit that age where we’ve refined our values and gotten closer to a good expression of who we want to be.

Not that I have an enforced schedule. Just a personal target that I usually miss by 15-45 minutes.

Ha! I finally figured out enough of the moving parts for that test to pass.
Hm.
Got a lot of print statements to delete.
There’s logging, and there’s “Brian doesn’t know what the hell is going on in his own code tonight.” The difference is subtle but important.
Get the taquitos and we’ll talk.
