Starting to solidify my opinion that tech assessments are bullshit. Code for no pay? Fine, whatever. But if I write some code and I’m supposed to treat it like a pull request, then you damn well better support the fiction by giving me useful feedback.

if you take a macro view and determine that the rivals to be eliminated are vc investors well that is your business but keep in mind i need to pay rent

Among most of my direct colleagues it’s been accepted knowledge for years that Excel is the mostly widely installed IDE, and our job as devs was to make something – if not better, at least more convenient – than firing up a shared spreadsheet for the task.
