Jack has discovered a love of quilting. He offered a few suggestions earlier which @IamMrsGeek politely rebuffed.
Exploring a project with five distinct utils namespaces so far and pondering the scar tissue accumulated learning my own hard lesson that utility namespaces are bad and we should feel bad when we stuff everything in them.
Made the terrible mistake of going to sleep at a reasonable hour and getting what my body considers a full night’s sleep.
I mean —
I fixed a Windows issue rather than just rebooting into Linux.
How messed up is that? This is what too much rest gets you.

Budget prioritization finally reached that LinkedIn Premium account, and yeah I don’t think it’s been worth $33 USD/month. Courses of wildly varying quality, metrics that are cool to look at but not actionable, and most important of all: no job!
@Luther Well they had to up the price to cover the expense of writing your posts with AI.
Anyways yeah I already knew it was a racket, but thought maybe it could be a useful racket? Six months is sufficient to establish with confidence that it is not.

We went Outside where there were People, but we were in the shade and also there were many dogs so it was pretty nice actually.

@jmac 88-90 was the between times. A very brief window of optimism between the collapse of the Iron Curtain and the invasion of Kuwait. The hair metal was bouncy and poppy and the alternative scene had “Right Here Right Now” and “Deeper Shade of Soul” and Paul’s Boutique.
