@tithonium there’s a very narrow window of PHP opportunities that I might enjoy, but it does exist. Mostly Laravel stuff.
CT Scan (for the ongoing ear issue) came back with everything absolutely normal, which frustrated me greatly until @IamMrsGeek reminded me that “no head trauma” isn’t generally considered a bad thing.

So I’ll probably end up with a hearing aid. Which — wait a second, if my hearing in one ear is dramatically lower for a certain range of frequencies I can medically use the line “I’m selectively hard of hearing.”
@masukomi Same. The Nikola SSG supports using a separate metadata file paired to the content file — though if I’m using Nikola, I’ll just take the next step and use rST where fields are part of the document structure.
Obsidian’s Live Edit looks like the start of a real nice approach, rendering YAML frontmatter as a properties table. We’ll see how they iron out the wrinkles!
I always feel vaguely guilty about my periodic note cleanup. Seems like just some kind of procrastination, right?
But I’m paying closer attention to my process this time and realizing there is a process. If I just go with it rather than telling myself I should be doing something useful, I’m getting insight into things going on a few months ago.
