I meant to go to bed an hour ago but some folks trying to solve the trolley problem with hanlon’s razor and I know it’s a nonsense metaphor but it’s true.
Fell asleep too early and brain thought we were just taking a nap. Ended up playing some Dorfromantik. Let’s try sleeping again.
Got about four hours of sleep in three separate blocks (thanks dogs) so today my work slack icon is 🧟♂️
Everybody else leisurely updating status and questions during the daily parking lot meeting. Gets to me and I don’t think you’d even have time to pull out the stopwatch.
In the Pacific Northwest a common variety of rain is this mist that’s too heavy for visibility, but too light for windshield wipers.
Today’s meeting schedule is like that but for productivity. No meeting flood, but no ticket work until 2pm.
But I get lunch!

@chris I’m kind of going through a similar thought process. There are other aspects, like battery life and photo quality. The apps I use are generally better under iOS.

That satori-like moment when something clicks and you catch a glimpse of why some problems are unsolvable but words hard and anyways I want to reread Mythical Man Month I think.
On birbsite deathwatch, so I looked up news about its pending future owner at DuckDuckGo because I am not disabling that particular keyword mute for the sake of morbid curiosity.
Building emacs-ng, a process which started before a one hour meeting and is still ongoing. But it appears to have moved on to the .elc files!
Decided the problem with my notes is that there’s just too many of them. So I deleted 1,800 files.
And by “delete” I mean exported to a backup, tagged the current state in repo, pushed, removed files from repo & committed, pushed, and copied the backup to Dropbox.
