@masukomi Well, you’ve got the “microservices for everything” crowd but micro is too much for the CGI case and too little for the monolith case.

A thing going around about disenchantment with tech companies and generally they’re not wrong but I have rarely been excited about what VCFundedTechCo has ever promised me.
@masukomi oh I remember that poem! Yeah I have similar thoughts about Perl, especially now-ish when people only seem to remember its reputation for quickies.
Folks out there still saying — in tutorial material! — that Perl is primarily used for CGI.

Love when I’m in some SaaS workspace and somebody on the other side of the date line makes a timestamped note and the workspace helpfully tells me they wrote the note tomorrow.
