I enjoy using many languages, but favorite is still Perl.

It trusts that you know what you’re doing when you tell it to do something, and it tries to do anything you tell it to (including, thankfully, not be quite so trusting).

also also, I’m loving all the answers I see to the original question.

We joke about how all programming languages suck – because they do – but they’re also all delightful creative works directed towards making your own creations in a particular way.

This thread – along with others by @mykola, just follow him if you’re interested in neurodivergent issues – is informative, emotional, and a handy checklist for us with odd wiring.

Me, me, nope, me, no, no, ugh me.

Such a range of people! I guess it’s “divergent” for a reason.

Spent about a month in Manjaro (thought it was much less, my sense of time is way off)

Got frustrated, thought Pop OS + Homebrew would do the trick

Nope. Already too accustomed to Arch/Manjaro flexibility, so it’s Manjaro-GNOME.

For the moment.

Sugar daddies, indoor agriculture hustling, and derailing science.

Long thread is good.

Might abandon my “listen to podcasts during the commute” experiment since it took me three days to get through an hour long episode.

So close.

I’ve had those days, mind you. But that’s what I’m hoping to avoid.
