I like Python’s type hints. They’re a very clever solution to a tricky problem.

Slowly but surely making my way through the task list. If only I could stop adding to it.

@drskrzyk I’m glad you like it!
Though I’d prefer to minimize cardiac arrest reactions to my work.

@drskrzyk Cool! I never would have thought of that.
That’s the fun thing with drawings that aren’t of anything. Everybody’s brain gets to play.

@drskrzyk nope, I ended up using Dropbox for Orgzly.
Somewhere in my very long task list is setting up NextCloud so I can use WebDAV with apps/services that support it.

@drskrzyk Well dang that’s disappointing.
Emacs is sort of my “experimental” workflow. “Regular” is the classic Vim user hodgepodge.
So naturally I’m also looking at todo.txt for the sort of quick thoughts I’m likely to come up with on mobile.

@lecramed Ooh that’s definitely worth looking into.

@drskrzyk I just added a pile of Vim plugins. After I sort through which ones I like, blog posts are inevitable.
But VimWiki, with files themselves synced to my assorted desktops via Syncthing, is off to a promising start!

@drskrzyk magit rocks! I finally figured out that what I thought was “giving up” was more a continual process of exploring and checking in.
Still, it would be nice to be really good at one thing rather than painfully aware of how much cool stuff there is.

@drskrzyk @wizard@welovela.in I had issues but that was a few years back and was more about general frustrations syncthing was giving me at the time.
I’ll have to revisit. Thank you!

While true, this is also a real problem with platforms like Twitter. Sometimes we just want to grumble amicably about the things we love (hello Perl!).
Our friends get it, but it goes into the Forever Firehose context-free.

Adding custom binding for vim-bookmarks before I hurt myself.
ma is default binding for BookmarkShowAll and also deeply embedded muscle memory for marking a location the regular way.

@lordbowlich Pinafore is real nice.

@y0x3y @drskrzyk VimWiki gives a solid foundation, that’s for sure. Doesn’t have the kitchen sink approach of org, but that might be a good thing.

39 hours of #drawing in #Procreate squished down to 30 seconds.
