I don’t like Emacs. I kinda hate its pre-everything terminology and key bindings. Better w/ Doom, but emacs+vi editing is like oatmeal+raisin cookies.

But it’s the only tool I’ve found that does everything I need. And so far only Smalltalk is more extensible. So I use it.

@rafial don’t tell anyone but I agree. It’s just that “oatmeal and raisin cookies” are a generally used analogy for an awful surprise or experience, so I went with it.

@rafial Also, I think it popped in my head as a subconscious reference to Larry Wall’s “oatmeal and toenail clippings” comments about LISP.
