The sort of folks that follow me probably don’t need to be told this, but stay the hell away from the new google pay. Thought it was just a rebranding and now gotta wait ~48 hours for verification before I can access funds.

You’re Google. You know who I am, if only because I’ve used your dang services for a decade plus. This sudden air of responsibility is unconvincing.

So I was able to get at the funds from the new google pay to transfer to my bank account eventually, but that was way too many clicks to get from A to B.
It’s like Google’s trying to be venmo but with more ads. Getting G+ flashbacks at the “google catch-up” vibe here.
