@pixelpaperyarn It’s better. They didn’t flip the woke switch or anything, but it’s better.
Flashback scenes include cringe moments from the first movie. If you’re interested but hesitant about whole family viewing, you might screen it first.
OTOH our antagonist is so outrageously macho male — but with dance numbers — that all his scenes felt like outtakes from Priscilla Queen of the Desert. My brain could only process it as camp parody of cisnormative. Wesley Snipes doing a variation of his Demolition Man character.
Those were my favorite scenes.
