There we go. set -g default-terminal "tmux-256-color" in my tmux conf, set -x COLORTERM truecolor in my fish config.
Now I get all the formatting + color goodness in my Windows Terminal Preview WSL workspace as well.

No regrets with getting American Truck Simulator on sale. And the kittens love the sound of the truck engine. Makes ’em snuggle up to the speakers. Would’ve taken pics but I didn’t want to wreck on my first trip.
