I wish the “paths look like this on windows” sections of filesystem tutorials didn’t take such a “DON’T SCREW IT UP” attitude. Windows has accepted the Unix slash for a few years now.

Sure, ‘dir/file’ resolves to ‘dir\file’. But it resolves.
