Wondering if there’s a Node.js equivalent to perldoc or pydoc: a CLI tool to browse, search, and read API documentation.

@rune Oh they care, or at least the people making it do. Whether the executives care? Well yeah. I would be surprised if anyone above team lead was invested in the quality of a command line package manager.

Though this is the company that brought us the Sweaty “Developers!” Chant.

@djsundog Nice. So that’s the formatting part, which I wondered about. Looks like it doesn’t cover the CLI browsing / searching part I was hoping for though.

@djsundog You’d be surprised how often I got a response like that. I’ve handed multiple 10-15 year career Python devs their TIL about pydoc ^_^

Not even five minutes in a new space and we’re already rescuing baby bunnies from firepits.

Be free baby bunny. Go do ecological damage in our invasive blackberry brambles. But if anyone asks, we never met.

Deciphering the different “I love boots” flag stripes is harder than the old bandana rules.

Okay so this guy’s kink is cops, firemen, and soldiers. Got it.
