Not like any of the other languages are innocent of the “add a plugin” mindset, but it really seems core to the JS development experience.

huzzah I figured out how to do admonitions / callouts with remark-directive!
now to very carefully git commit before the whole thing crashes down

There may be blog posts, but it’ll take some work to pull a thread of baby steps out of the kitten-ravaged yarn stash that is remark/rehype/unified docs.
