Was trying to figure out where I got the “if your language has type declarations I should be able to use them meaningfully in my script,” since most insist on a compilation step or separate type checker.

I think it was Pike.

Course, Pike requires the type so it’s not a gentle hinting system. But that’s probably why I get annoyed when Python doesn’t care that I specified my object should be a Thing.
