Checking the guidelines before I schedule my certification exam.
The online test proctoring rules are – if I may use a technical term from the ADHD / neurodiverse knowledge domain – bullshit.

Things like “no mumbling or speaking out loud” which ok fine usually that’s me quiet in the corner but if I’m thinking I can’t make promises about what noises my mouth meat might make.

and “no notes or study aids” like okay if you insist but that’s how I keep my brain on track I hope you’re ready for my 90 minute essay on no not networking technology how about stylistic variances of 20th century fantasy illustration

“no headphones”
yes good so i can be distracted by every little bug fart during a stressful exam excellent idea
hackers.town: 2021-10-20 Wed 10:11
“nothing unrelated to the exam on your desk” so no stims i guess i better pull out my extra clicky keyboard for this so i can fidget a little
hackers.town: 2021-10-20 Wed 10:13
“facial recognition software may be used” okay that’s not a neurodiverse thing that’s just a fuck you to any tester in general mustn’t let anyone feel left out i guess

I should maybe have fewer venvs. A global plus one for each significant project is fine.
One for every idea has been perhaps a bit much.

I want to keep work and life stuff notes separate, but I keep crossing the streams.
Working on muscle memory to start vimwiki with <Leader>ws, opening a wiki select, rather than going straight to the default wiki.

I’ve tried doing multi-vault in Obsidian etc but for some reason two app windows may as well be two apps – kinda true since each is managed separately – and one becomes the always open default.
Maybe less friction with a vimwiki context shift, but we’ll see.
