Found one (of four or five, I think?) of my Google Takeout files from when they were getting ready to delete all the Google+ data. Because of the jigsaw puzzle piece approach to takeout files, it includes only the last dozen of my G+ posts, out of several thousand.
anyways annoyed at google all over again
I know they’ve held onto all sorts of data I didn’t want them to, but not G+, the thing they forced everyone to use? They run out of disk space or something?
that’s why I don’t have all my takeout files BUT THAT WAS NOT MY POINT

Definitely not all better, but I feel like my body’s well past the halfway point processing the Friday triple-vaccination.

something like brain freeze as it occurs to me that I’m trying to get a job outside tech proper as it’s probably the only way I’ll get paid to write useful code that will actually get used.

i mean
80% or more of the code I wrote didn’t outlast the team I wrote it for.
Meanwhile I wrote a Rails app for a homeless shelter and they’re still using it eleven years after I finished it and six years after they promised to phase it out.

I have already seen more mullets than I anticipated.
Course I was expecting zero, but I would have taken that bet and lost it with honor.

Apparently Jim Gaffigan is on Manjaro now and I didn’t even know he ran Linux.
I may have misheard.

@IamMrsGeek I was fascinated by the depth and breadth of their banality.

My final review of Jim Gaffigan’s live comedy show is that his Netflix specials are very funny.

@bink much of the audience enjoyed, but it didn’t click for us. Could’ve been mood and moment as much as anything else. I like his specials.
