Somebody saying they want me to advise their client on the “AI Data center infrastructure market” based on my LinkedIn profile (with three whole months of nearly relevant experience). Compensated, of course.
I got bad vibes and ignored it. I figured either vanilla-grade hustle or someone trying to get me to violate an NDA.
The bad vibes have not gone away with their half dozen followup emails, or the other nearly identical query + follow-up chains. I think 20+ emails over the last couple weeks?
Nah I’m good.

I may not be a fan of Tailwind, but it shows up in way more job descriptions than Open Props. So I’m getting my practice in.
(working in grayscale until I got the pieces where I needed tham)

Tailwind CSS: all the tedium of Bootstrap, and none of the contextual cues.
In the grumbly “use in anger” stage so take that with a grain of salt. No it’s not nearly as good as just using CSS, but it could be worse.
At some point I’ll definitely be working on palette customization.

Half-watching a show about Bryan Johnson, the rich dude trying to live forever.
Blurted out “body purity bullshit.”
That’s the mildest expression of my opinions on divorcing yourself from your body like that. Been a pet peeve since ~2000 reading The Religion of Technology.
And then there’s the media delight in humanizing folks actively engaged in dehumanization (of themselves or others).
