Replaced the Cana fan on the Pi4 with something quiet enough that I forget it’s on if there’s any other background noise at all.

The new Pi fan(s) came in a new Pi case (Argon One Pi 4 V2). Not sure what I think of the Alienware aesthetic, but it does look sturdy. And it’s quiet.
I have so many wonderfully terrible ideas and the ever-growing realization that I have not been allocated sufficient time on this world to implement them all.

Python poetry taking an awful long time to calculate dependencies. I don’t think it knows how tight of a schedule I’m on.
(I know it doesn’t know, it’s a computer program I was being metaphorical)
It’s nice when your productivity gets shot for good reasons.

Standing at my desk vibrating anxiously (nothing bad just a day with lots of adrenalin triggers) and it’s putting the cats off their nap so maybe I’ll go for a walk.
I have not successfully put both contact lenses in since some number of weeks before Thanksgiving. So glad the eye doctor pushed me to go with multiple boxes of a brand that I can’t get to work.

I kinda wish there was a notification setting between firehose and Shut It All Down.
Not like favorite contacts, more like “you just told me about email a second ago, no need for five more notifications about the other five emails that showed up at the same time.”
Off in the world of paid software, remembering how my MBP storage got out of control right when I let the CleanMyMac license lapse, so a few years later I have renewed.

I don’t know why Windows 11 and my video card don’t get along but I’ve decided I’m just gonna keep them apart for a bit.
Radeon doesn’t complain with Linux? Radeon gets to play with Linux.
@dredmorbius Agreed. I tried hard with some of the highly polished CMS’s out there and the lack of flexibility chafed almost instantly.
Great for some folks but not the feature set I need.

@dredmorbius well sure! The current iteration is mirrored on github https://github.com/brianwisti/rgb-eleventy. Main thing my dream SSG needs to account for is that I’m always futzing with things in ill-advised ways, and I need it to stay out of my way.
So I’ve messed with a lot of site generators / toolkits over the last couple few years and they’ve all been varying degrees of interesting / intriguing / aggravating but so far the only two I’d call fun are #Eleventy and #Statamic.

The main real problem I’m bumping into with Doom Emacs having so many options installed and enabled so easily is that something auto-complete related is locking up my Emacs session but I have no idea what.
