Going down the list of JavaScript SSGs and most I’ve tried have a degree of fiddliness that makes Hugo look like Jekyll.
The options seem to be: learn you some funky syntax (that’s Hugo) or install 50 plugins — and learn you some funky syntax (that’s JS).

So far in my JS SSG stroll, Eleventy’s been most pleasant for just plain building a site, and despite a lot of rough edges Astro’s been most fun for a component style.
Windows 11 horked so bad it stopped seeing my second monitor and wants me to factory reset the video card.
So I rebooted into Linux where everything’s fine. I’ll deal with Windows later. Eventually.

@obsolete29 Explicitly. Tried special purpose blogs years back and I’d always mix topics and neglect blogs. These days it’s just one site with whatever I want to brain dump.
Haven’t felt like messing with my dotfiles yet on the newest Manjaro KDE install. Using Kate for the quick edits and you know what Kate is a pretty darn good editor.
