No of course I’m not watching either of the town halls. I already know where my vote’s going and I got stuff to do. Gonna background a documentary or something.
March 225th, 2020: we haven’t been out w/o purpose since Feb. Picked up food at a favorite neighborhood place (everyone masked). One of the owners went out of her way to thank us for coming by.
That look of real gratitude really drilled in how much local biz hurts right now.
Five hours in and it’s safe to say I got comfortable with Everspace’s pew pew. Got that permadeath + permanent perks approach going for it, a decorative plot, and the lie of “just one more go.”

@szbalint Time is the real challenge for me. I may get a few hours of game time this week, or I may get twenty minutes.
Perlbrew seems to get on better with fish than plenv does. Well enough that it tells me what to put where.

For descriptive testing I like pytest-bdd less than behave, which I like less than Cucumber, which I like less than RSpec, which I like about the same as Test::More.
First thing to remember when walking the intern through shell tasks: I’ve been making horrible mistakes on the command line longer than they’ve been alive.
Sometimes you gotta let them touch the stove & figure out it’s hot.
