I may be going a little fast and loose what with being the only dev on the project, but thank goodness I still have enough sense to keep the work in branches.
Incidentally, Python+Django is very nice but I know for a fact the tests and probably several other bits would be much faster in Perl+(not catalyst please god).
Something I think about while waiting for pytest to finish this last run.
Bedtime was a few hours ago so I think I’ll go sleep for a bit.

Brain crossed wires for a second there mixing a post about Oregon wildfires with another about open source participation and handed me “Nine die in Open Source wildfires.”
Might be time to close the social media tabs for a bit.
Goodness but every crowd for a demo is different. I can see how some folks get hooked on giving talks. Gives you more opportunities to refine how you look at that thing you thought you knew.

Gave another demo of the same thing to a different batch of people. It also didn’t suck, but mainly wanted to note: their feedback and requests were pretty much opposite those of the first batch.
