Before I get too incredulous about how my five year old MBP is more useful for work than my Win/Lin desktop with 40GB RAM etc etc I must remind myself it’s mostly because work lets me connect the MBP to the borg but the desktop is forbidden.
@jens I’m not entirely sure. Sludgy but dancy? I was playing a “sludge metal” playlist and saw a related “sludge” playlist that included Grimes and Poppy. Played that and liked it.
Starting to get the banter down for calling in my prescription. Gotta do it every single month for the rest of my life, so I might as well get comfortable.

Sometimes I’ve been enjoying Robot Framework, and there’s today where my main thought is “It’s like if AppleScript and Python had a clandestine rendezvous in a back alley that they hid from everyone in shame.”

I know this is an important election but I have my first shot at a few hours of free time since Sep 4 and I’m not gonna waste it watching old people argue about who’s cool enough to decide if my country lives or dies.
I’ve always felt old that’s just part of my brain.
But there’s a different kind of feeling old where not only are there kids who don’t remember your pivotal world events directly, they’re adults that had children who are adults that never heard of it.

amdgpu-install complained at me, but OTOH I don’t see tearing and flickering on my monitor now. Either it worked or I’m going blind. I’ll call it a win either way.
