@lordbowlich It’s useful enough that I subscribed ($20/year), but @vortex_egg also reminded me about OmniGraffle. Bigger investment but a lot more functionality.

Talked the intern through more shell life basics, including nano. Also suggested they explore remote capabilities of VS Code, their preferred tool.
Core point: learn enough shell to be useful in an emergency, but whatever tools you prefer? Learn ’em. Learn ’em good.

@lordbowlich @vortex_egg Same. I figure there’s useful-for-puttering and useful-for-work. There’s some overlap, but you can tell the differences for sure.
And TBH sharing my screen while building the mind map in-meeting was particularly gratifying.

@vortex_egg @lordbowlich I’ve been gently steering my immediate work circle towards the project gitlab wiki for collaborative notes rather than the current mishmash of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
My own notes are largely in Obsidian at the moment, so that’s easy enough.

@y0x3y It’s fascinating. The layout feels a bit like my Model 01, so my muscle memory keeps going where the keys would be on that keyboard.
I’ll probably play with Chrysalis a bit to remap modifiers.
