Couple things I recently confirmed about facial hair.
There is a process of “training” in which the hairs get used to you pushing them in one direction.
Some hairs learn quicker than others.

So I’m looking up the Emily Noyes Vanderpoel “Color Problems” book because art brain today, and one of the first results is this brilliant bot by @liza. It produces color breakdowns of scenes, in the same style as the 1901 book.
