#SufferFace is not normally my vibe but we are at an airport during the holidays and I’m doing The Nod at the occasional masked person I see so maybe?
So I’ve got my domain name and am reasonably confident running at least one non-Mastodon ActivityPub service.
But I just know I’ll want to try others and maybe even write one. Better set it up on a subdomain. Hopefully today but we’ll see what kind of time I have.

Big anxiety spike in the back half of the last day before vacation, which is not too surprising really.
Did the most important part of setting up an instance on the Fediverse: picking a domain name.
Next is the trivial stuff like actually setting it up.

I don’t particularly care for Mastodon. Seeing if I can set up an Akkoma (a fork of Pleroma adding many features from Misskey) dev instance because hello yes i am hipster how can i help you
Well it only took me three hours (or a week if you include the time I accidentally deleted the init file and had to step away for a bit) but I got denote.el note manager for Emacs set up!

I don’t say this about my own #drawing often, but holy crap. The shading in tonight’s knot is remarkable. I just tried color pencil shading how I would on paper, and #LineaSketch said ok.
