@mwop I mostly use mobile to drop a quick note to process later.
For my use, I’m thinking maybe a synced folder rather than a full installation. Maybe Joplin or similar using Dropbox sync on the phone, with the folder set up as a notebook on desktop. nb’s notebook handling simplifies such shenanigans.
@mwop Nothing yet, as I’m still in vacation mode. But yep, edit via nb later is my intent.

There’s another couple from the vicinity of Seattle on this eight hour tour and they talk a lot about tech and Twitter and stuff I have opinions on, and they are not awful opinions, but I have not participated in their conversation because they talked a lot and my ears are tired.
Given my habit of being on many social networks and sharing what I find on other social networks, guess I’ll follow the new Twitter TOS by editing my profile, deleting my tweets, disabling the forwarder, and setting twitter.com to 127.0.0.1 in /etc/hosts
Supposedly that policy change only covers accounts that exist primarily to promote other networks, but good luck convincing Twitter that your recent name change to “at fuck elon at twittersucksworsenow dot social” is just the most amazing coincidence and not promoting another network.
Thanks to our upstairs neighbor, there’s a part of me looking forward to being home where it’s much less noisy.
Not sure what they’re doing but the audio effect is not unlike pogoing in tap shoes.
At first I thought they were walking around and sometimes that’s it but no. Then we thought maybe it’s not tenants but a construction crew, but no.
We were a little too wiped from the day’s travels, took a long late nap. Now I’m up at 10pm ready to play on the laptop.
Marginally interesting to note: if one clicks on mastodon.social etc links on New & Busted Twitter, you get a warning about unsafe links.
More interesting: it seems to be a narrow string match, with links to at least one other server clicking straight through.

While emptying the garbage I saw a rather healthy cockroach. On the way back I saw a cute little gecko hunting said cockroach. Very circle of life.
